Semi-final « Draw me Peace », Tbilisi

On April 16 2016 took place the semi-final of the International Children’s Drawing Competition “Draw me peace”. Club de Chance invited 50 children whose drawings were selected by the jury to compete in the final of the international competition in Paris, in May.

The event took place at Wendy’s in Saburtalo, Tbilisi. The children and their families were treated to burgers and drinks and had their faces painted. Their drawings were displayed on the wall for everyone to admire.

In the presence of Georgian television and members of the French Embassy, the president of Club de Chance Tatiana Balduc introduced the association and reminded the details of the contest. Then, in turn the children were invited to draw some tickets from a box. The winning ticket was a trip to Paris. The lucky winner was 10 year-old Saskia Buhr from School Number 1 in Tbilisi. She and a member of her family will go to Paris to attend the awards ceremony on May 8^th.

Each child was given a winner’s diploma and a bag with a sketch book and some painting material. They will later take part in a textile painting workshop led by artist Gela Kuprashvili.

Français lDemi-finale « Dessine-moi la Paix », Tbilissi

Le 16 avril 2016 a eu lieu la demi-finale du Concours International de dessin d’enfants « Dessine-moi la paix ». Pour l’occasion, le Club de Chance a réuni les 50 enfants dont les dessins ont été sélectionnés par le jury pour participer à la finale du grand concours international qui se tiendra à Paris au mois de mai.<

L’événement s’est déroulé au restaurant Wendy’s de Saburtalo. Accompagnés de leurs familles, les enfants ont pu se faire maquiller et se régaler des hamburgers et des boissons offerts pour l’occasion. Chacun a pu admirer les dessins des gagnants affichés sur les murs.

Devant les caméras de télévision géorgiennes et les représentants de l’ambassade de France, la présidente de ONG Internationale Club de Chance Tatiana Balduc a présenté l’association et réexpliqué le principe du concours.

Puis, un par un, les enfants ont pu tenter leur chance de gagner un voyage à Paris en piochant des bulletins dans une urne. C’est la petite Saskia Buri, 10 ans, de l’école numéro 1 de Tbilissi qui a eu la chance de tirer le bulletin gagnant et de remporter le voyage, pour sa plus grande joie. Elle se rendra donc à Paris en compagnie de l’un de ses parents pour assister à la cérémonie de remise des prix, le 11 mai prochain.

Chaque enfant s’est vu remettre un diplôme de gagnant et a reçu en cadeau un sac contenant du matériel de peinture. Ils auront également la chance de participer à un atelier de peinture sur tissu animé par Gela Kuprashvili.
